Our story doesn’t begin in a boardroom. It began in 1963, with the vision of one man and the hum of a single lathe in Mokawloon El Arab. That man was Engineer Mostafa Abbas Shaarawy. A brilliant design engineer who had honed his skills with a multinational company, he possessed more than just technical expertise; he had a profound understanding of the Egyptian market and an unwavering belief in local craftsmanship. With courage and foresight, he decided to build something of his own. His entire operation was that one lathe, dedicated to machining precision metal parts for other companies. But his reputation—built on quality, intelligence, and integrity—was already beginning to grow.

Our Journey Over the years
It began with the vision of one man and the hum of a single lathe in Mokawloon El Arab.
Engineers Sherif & Mohamed join their father, forming a new generation of leadership.
The Company establishes its first dedicated factory in Obour City, a major milestone.
Strategic growth opens a second factory in 2017, greatly expanding capabilities.
The third generation joins, upholding the founding charge to innovate and teach.

Engineer Mostafa wasn’t just building a business; he was building a legacy. A legacy he began to pass on to his sons, Engineers Sherif Mostafa and Mohamed Mostafa. By 1984, they had joined him, bringing fresh energy and ambition. Together, father and sons formed an unstoppable team. Sherif and Mohamed proved to be a powerful duo, combining their unique strengths and unwavering dedication to face every new challenge. True to their father’s example, they understood that growth was about more than machinery; it was about people. They began to teach, mentor, and build a powerful team around them, fostering a culture of shared knowledge and resilience that could navigate any difficulty. This united front helped push the business to new limits, and their relentless drive soon caught the attention of major international companies operating in Egypt, for whom they began manufacturing complex, precision parts.
Crafting the Future with Tools of Tradition
From a single lathe sixty years ago, our story is one of purposeful growth. Our founder’s love for craft and relentless work ethic found their true home in 2002, when our move to Obour City’s first dedicated factory was a bold statement of intent. That spirit of innovation propelled us forward, leading to a second factory in 2013 and a third in 2017, each expansion unlocking new capabilities and horizons. Today, as a third-generation family enterprise, we stand on the shoulders of giants, charged with the same enduring mission: to push further, innovate smarter, and pass the torch of excellence to the next generation.
